There is something servile in the habit of seeking after a law which we may obey. We may study the laws of matter at and for our convenience, but a successful life knows no law. It is an unfortunate discovery certainly, that of a law which binds us where we did not know before that we were bound.
The map required the AI to make judgement calls about hundreds of little choices, and it just made them, without me understanding the choices or having a chance to weigh in. In many ways, it is miraculous (I can always ask for edits at the end) on the other, it turns AI into the ultimate black box.
Goals transform AI from a turn-based assistant that needs constant 'what's next?' prompting into an autonomous agent that can work for hours on complex, multi-step tasks.

The true paradox of human freedom is that we are most ourselves when we are most constrained by love for something outside ourselves.
The real value unlocks when you have genuinely hard technical problems. The "I trust you, figure it out" prompt unlocks autonomous multi-hour workflows.
I love how it views creativity as something spiritual that works best when it just flows. That is something I need to remind myself of at times because it's so easy to fall into the trappings of constraining your imagination to fit within the mandates that buyers want or the expectations that audiences have rather than the freedom of where a thought takes you.
Being in familiar surroundings with adequate control over my time and space is a necessary condition for immersing myself fully in reading, writing, and taking pictures—activities that nourish me and give me space for creativity.
Advanced autonomy, improved sensors, millions of miles more experience, integrated software and embedded AI have all improved considerably in the last decade.
