The second it was in my system, I had a brief period where I felt a strange combination of horrible things. One being, Oh my god, I love this. I remember it. This works pretty fucking well. I can't say that there's no part of me that doesn't like this. And then of course there is a part of me that doesn't like it, because I felt guilty for liking it, and I hated that feeling.

The poet only asks to get his head into the world, but the world always strikes a poet down. It may be very hard in the world to live with the poet; but imagine how hard it must be to live with the poet in oneself and to be bound by him in chains.
