The thing about election denialism is it's not just a set of false beliefs — it's also a set of practices. And those practices include things like not certifying elections, trying to decertify elections, refusing to hand over election equipment, refusing to cooperate with routine audits.
So the federal government has been using the SAVE database as well as some other commercially available databases to try to come up with a list of citizens that they're trying to have the states compare with their own state voter registration lists to take out people who are not eligible to be voting.
