The military museum and the daily news from Bosnia can almost make you think that war is what usually happens. Young men and women and children die. Politicians talk. Relief agencies try to help. And you do notice the museum has no pictures of victims, only heroes.
Russia is systematically destroying the Ukrainian economy. Um it's making people's lives very hard. It's destroying their livelihoods. And I should add that this is our fault if we're Americans because it's American policy to deny Ukraine the missile defense that it needs.
Israel has demolished every Muslim village along our route, pushing out thousands of people who used to live here. But amid the destruction, a few Christian communities like the village of Debel have been allowed to stay.
And suddenly Ukraine isn't a victim, it's a provider of security. And And And it's a provider of security despite the fact that the US cut off supplies to Ukraine.
We lost men. We lost dogs. We slept when and where we could. And some nights when it was safe and silent, we watched the men build their own fires on top of the earth that had already been burned by fires. And we all slept beside those new fires and woke and got up and started again.
Suddenly Ukraine isn't a victim, it's a provider of security. And And And it's a provider of security despite the fact that the US cut off supplies to Ukraine. I I believe hoping that you that meant that Ukraine would surrender.
