I think the most important thing that I believe that most people don't is that we will be able to build an AI that can do nearly anything a brilliant human scientist or engineer can do, and we'll be able to run a huge number of those simultaneously, and they will work all the time, and soon after that we'll be able to run systems that are much smarter than any human. And the consequence of that is that we can potentially compress the next hundred years of scientific progress into maybe a decade.
