We're now having robots fill out forms presumably for other robots to read just to get back to the trade we had before.

The robots are going to do the things that we need to survive. And then humans get to do the things that we want to do. I don't know what that world looks like exactly, but it seems like a much better world than the current one where many people can't get great medical care, can't get great education, can't afford the things they need.

I think we may be approaching a moment where most physical goods become quite cheap. The reason for that is if you have abundant clean energy and you have robots that can do most of the tasks, then physical goods get very cheap. And then the question is what do you do with your time, and do you have good social systems in place?

What I believe is that driverless cars today and lots of automated systems look very much like NLP systems in the 2010s. They are these very complex very handtuned systems. They're intelligent but they're intelligent in sort of isolated ways and that those systems hold back what these technologies can do.

I would say that if there's one area in which the wheels might come off China's extraordinary economic advances uh over the past few decades, it has to be employment. China is simply moving ahead so quickly on all of these topics that it now becomes an experiment for what happens to employment and social stability when you have hyper rapid AI adoption and automation adoption throughout the economy.

Whenever this conversation comes about, the promise of AI, I always go back to the promise of programmatic. I go back to that because I feel like the AI story is the new programmatic story, with the promise of everything just being absolutely automated, and that absolutely did not happen.

Whenever this conversation comes about, the promise of AI, I always go back to the promise of programmatic. How many of you remember when programmatic was a thing? And that was a time when it was all just going to magically happen and it magically still needs people, still has the nuance of brands and the marketplace and all of the things that we do to define our partnerships and what are going to be game changers. I go back to that because I feel like the AI story is the new programmatic story, with the promise of everything just being absolutely automated, and that absolutely did not happen.

No more people, it was all going to magically— [...] I go back to that because I feel like the AI story is the new programmatic story, with the promise of everything just being absolutely automated, and that absolutely did not happen.

China has demonstrated a willingness to forego money in the name of the common good. In the name of protecting workers and protecting labor. And so even if China is more structurally exposed to AI, even if that is the case, my assumption is that the Chinese government will bend the economy to its will in order to protect Chinese workers. What I know about America is that the total opposite is true.

The problem with wearable devices is the interaction model. They are only useful when you are interacting with them, when the human is in the loop. But being in the loop with a wearable is annoying and inefficient. what is being demonstrated here, however, is a brief interaction and then the agent doing work in the background. In other words, the usefulness happens in the cloud without the human needing to be involved because an agent is doing work.

AI is making every little step of entrepreneurship slightly easier, like slightly easier to incorporate, slightly easier to create a contract or to hire somebody, slightly easier to create an ad, and then you add all of that together.
