The way to wealth isn't making a lot of money. It's making more than you spend. My father died a near millionaire and he never made more than or you know he was making $48,000 a year but he spent 46 or 45 and he was investing and saving money even when he died.

There's a subset of things that you're probably going to want to do in your 20s that actually cost a lot less money to enjoy when you're young than they will older when you're older. And also like you might not be able to do them when you're older.

The whole point of wealth at the end of the day is somebody has to spend it on something. Whether it's you, your kids, you give it away to like a philanthropic organization to spend. And having like a scarcity mindset where you're constantly worried about not having enough even when you objectively have enough is just depriving yourself of things you could spend money on to enjoy.

Having like a scarcity mindset where you're constantly worried about not having enough even when you objectively have enough is just depriving yourself of things you could spend money on to enjoy. Again, whether it's material things experiences relationships and like the the things that you can spend that money on that you will enjoy are just going to change a lot. Like the thing you'll enjoy at 25 is different from 35 or 45 or whatever.
