This is the this kind of idea of working class of working but not owning carries through the 19th century.

Yet, it's also built on this powerful American lore. The idea that anyone with just a little bit of cash can rise from rags to riches in this country.

The lesson out of that which is sort of a textbook lesson which is that you don't want government picking winners and losers cuz a it's not very good at it and b even if it is good at it like to whom does that benefit a crew?
