My generation was told that we could have it all. And that meant that you could have a career, a successful career and children and a family and a home. But sometimes I feel like perhaps the men weren't told that. And so the society wasn't told that.
I think what is so different about the way specifically men of their generation, which is Gen Z, they're in their very early 20s, and my generation, which is about 10 years older than that, is that they have so much more shame around the amount of pornography they watch.
When my brothers moved to the UK, they switched to jeans right away. Nobody had any problem with it. But as soon as a girl decided to wear a pair of jeans, it became a whole issue.
Women have long been more likely than men to struggle with or being diagnosed with depression and anxiety... women's suffering, it's quiet because it's women have had to suffer quietly for a very long time.
