A.I. is a perfect technology for weather because weather is a bunch of data, and finding patterns in data is exactly what A.I. does. Previously, when you were making a subjective forecast, you had to make a decision and you really didn't know how many credible alternatives there were. We have so much data now that there is a sense that we can actually understand the probabilities.
